Andrew was raised in Melbourne Australia and instead of pursuing an expected illustration path, he instead cut his teeth shooting raves and live shows in filthy warehouses and snapping portraits of local bands and DJs.
After packing a bag for New York City in 2007, Andrew sweat it out in the equipment room at Manhattan's Milk Studios followed by assisting and finally moving into shooting full time.
Editorial work has included Schön!, WWD, Out, Paper, Footwear News, Thrasher, Vice, Suited, Vogue.com, Frame, Nylon, Milk.xyz and The Fine Print, plus projects for M.A.C Cosmetics, Milk Makeup, New York Fashion Week, Monica Vinader, WWE, Nike, Puma, NPR, Made New York, Associated Brands Group, Prodject, Matte Projects, Milk Studios, Express Men and Absolut Art.
Andrew's first book of published portraits 'Heroes and Villains: A Photographic Odyssey into the World of Cosplay' was released in 2017 through Smith Street Books and distributed by Rizzolli.
He resides in Brooklyn and owns way too many comic books.
